I had the honor of documenting baby Ivy’s Christening day. The ceremony took place at a local Catholic church in Thornbury, followed by a beautiful celebration at The Aztec Hotel in Bristol.
The day was filled with emotion, warmth, and love. Close family members and friends gathered to support Ivy as she was baptised. Being able to photograph such an important milestone in Ivy’s life was a privilege. It’s events like these that remind me why I do what I do – capturing the joy, the love, and the beauty of life’s most precious moments!
Once the ceremony had finished, the celebration continued at The Aztec Hotel in Bristol. Guests were welcomed into an area at the back of the hotel which is conveniently connected to their lovely garden. A table full of delicious food, sparkling champagne, and a stunning Christening cake was waiting for them!
One of the most unique aspects of Ivy’s Christening celebration was the fingerprint tree activity. Guests were invited to place their fingerprints on a special painting that formed the shape of balloons, creating a lasting keepsake for Ivy and her family. This creative activity was not only fun for the guests but also meaningful, as it symbolized the love and support surrounding Ivy as she begins her journey through life.
