Christenings are among the most meaningful and cherished occasions in a family’s life.

These milestones mark the beginning of a child’s spiritual journey, surrounded by loved ones, joy, and celebration.

Capturing these moments through professional photography ensures that the memories from this special day are preserved for years to come.

I had the honor of documenting baby Ivy’s christening day. The ceremony took place at a local Catholic church in Thornbury, followed by a  celebration at The Aztec Hotel in Bristol.

Being able to photograph such an important milestone in Ivy’s life was a privilege. It’s events like these that remind me why I do what I do – capturing joy, love, and the beauty of life’s most precious moments!

When the ceremony was over, the celebration continued at The Aztec Hotel in Bristol. Guests were welcomed into an area at the back of the hotel, conveniently connected to a lovely garden. A table full of delicious food, sparkling champagne, and a stunning christening cake was waiting for them.

A fingerprint tree activity was going around the guests (something new to me). Each guest pressed their finger onto a inkpad and put it onto a painting that formed the shape of balloons – what a nice keepsake!
