Family photoshoot at the Botanical Gardens in Bath

The Botanical Gardens in Bath are one of my favourite spots for family photography – peaceful, full of colour, and with just the right mix of open space and hidden corners. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a lovely family of three there.

With little ones, I always recommend a relaxed approach – no pressure, just space to explore and be together. That’s exactly what we did. The Botanical Gardens are perfect for this. With wide open lawns, winding paths, and plenty of interest for curious toddlers, it gave us lots of natural moments to capture.

This little boy was full of wonder – looking at flowers and toddling down paths. We followed his lead, letting the session unfold naturally as the family moved through the gardens.

A few portraits with Mum and Dad, some candid moments, and lots of little in-between moments — cuddles, laughter, wide-eyed gazes.
