Deposit

If the client is booking a mini photo session, a deposit of £35 is payable on booking to secure the session time. Failure to pay the deposit nulls and voids the booking.
 

Cancellation

The client may cancel this booking at any time by informing the photographer but the session fee is non-refundable.
 

Weather

In the event of rain, the mini sessions will be rescheduled to another date. If the second date is also cancelled due to wet weather, I will issue a full refund or you can choose to postpone and use your mini session in the spring, bluebell, or autumn minis for example).
 

Special requests

I will use my professional expertise, judgement and artistic licence in the choice of photographs taken. If the client has requests for specific photographs, the photographer will make every effort to accommodate these. The client understands and accepts that this may not always be possible.
 

Client confidentiality

The photographer will keep all information provided by the client confidential for the purposes of the photography.
 

Copyright

Copyright is retained by the photographer at all times. All images, copies of images or printed documentation relating to such images are protected by the Copyright and Design Act 1988. It is contrary to the Act to copy (or allow to be copied) an image or document created as part of this contract without the permission of the photographer in writing. Digital files remain the property of the photographer.
 

Photographer cancellation and limitation of liability

If the photographer has to cancel the contract due to reasons beyond their control (e.g. death, injury, sickness, emergency, force majeure), or in the unlikely event of a total photographic or transport failure, including equipment malfunction or any loss or damage beyond the photographer’s control, the liability of the photographer shall be limited to a full refund of the deposit paid. Digital images are backed up to guard against digital loss. However, there exists the unlikely possibility that images may be lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed for reasons beyond the photographer’s control. The photographer will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss and the client agrees that the photographer is not responsible for any damages, emotional or otherwise. The photographer has full Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
