I’m Alison, a newborn and baby photographer based near Bristol. For over ten years I’ve been creating beautiful natural photos for families across Bath and Somerset. My sessions are unhurried and relaxed, with some gentle guidance when it helps - you can simply enjoy time with your new baby while I quietly capture it all.
Home newborn sessions are completely baby-led, focused on capturing the quiet connection and love that fill those early days.

Every baby is different, and every session flows around their needs. I work with soft natural light, gentle direction, and plenty of breaks whenever they’re needed. The goal is to document your new family just as you are - the tiny hands wrapped around yours, the quiet cuddles, the little details you’ll never want to forget. Whether you’re in Weston, Larkhall, or central Bath, each session is designed to fit around you and your family.
How it works
My newborn photography sessions are very relaxed with plenty of time for feeding, cuddling and settling as needed. I spend an hour or two with you allowing the photos to unfold at a gentle pace. A couple of weeks after your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery containing around 40 beautifully edited images to view, share and choose from. FIND OUT MORE
When to book
You’re welcome to book at any point during pregnancy so I can pencil in your due date. Once your baby arrives, we’ll choose a day that feels right, usually within the first couple of weeks, while they’re still tiny and sleepy. But there’s no rush. If a few weeks pass before you feel ready, that’s fine too. Older newborns and young babies bring just as much warmth and character to their photos.
