I’m Alison, a Bristol & Bath event photographer specialising in natural, documentary-style coverage of family celebrations.
Whether you're looking for a birthday party, christening or anniversary photographer, my approach is the same - natural and relaxed photography that captures moments as they happen. I also cover community and corporate events across Bristol, Bath, Somerset & Gloucestershire.
MY APPROACH TO EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY
I observe and photograph moments as they unfold. Conversations, reactions, laughter, quiet exchanges, these are the images that tell the real story of an event. I move through the event capturing the atmosphere alongside the smaller interactions that often go unnoticed. Where needed, I can include a few organised group photos but the emphasis is always on natural moments.

What types of events do you photograph?
I cover a wide range of events across Bristol, Bath, Somerset and Gloucestershire, including birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, corporate events, charity fundraisers, naming ceremonies, and private parties. If you're not sure whether your event is something I'd cover, just get in touch and I'll let you know.
Do you organise group photos?
My focus is on natural, documentary-style coverage, so the majority of images are candid. That said, I'm happy to organise a few group photos during the event if that's something you'd like, just let me know in advance.
How long can you cover an event for?
Coverage is flexible and depends on the shape of your event. Some events need just a couple of hours, others a full day. We'll work out the right amount of coverage when you get in touch, and I'll include it in your quote.
How quickly will we receive the photos?
Your fully edited images are usually delivered within two to three weeks through a private online gallery where you can view, download and share them.
KEY MOMENTS

Up to 90 minutes of coverage.
Ideal for christenings, baptisms and smaller celebrations where you would like the main event photographed, along with family photographs immediately before or afterwards.
SHORT EVENT
£595
Three hours of coverage.
Perfect for capturing the main part of your event, from guests arriving through to the key moments, speeches, family photographs and celebrations.
FULL EVENT
£895
Five hours of coverage.
For larger celebrations where you would like more complete coverage, with plenty of time for candid photographs of your guests as well as all the important moments.
All packages include:
• A carefully edited collection of high-resolution images
• A password-protected online gallery to share with family and friends
• Travel within 30 miles of my home in Portishead, with further travel available at an additional mileage cost
