Those first few weeks with your baby are unlike anything else.
Everything feels new. The weight of them in your arms, the way they curl into you, the tiny details you’re sure you’ll never forget (but somehow do).
My newborn photo sessions are relaxed with no forcing or over-posing. Everything is baby-led, with plenty of time for feeds, cuddles and settling.
The aim is to capture how this early chapter felt, so you have something to hold onto long after those first weeks have passed.
The early days are fleeting and often a blur. I’m here to help you keep hold of those moments, just as they are.
A simple process
Book a date
Get in touch and we’ll pencil in a date for around one to two weeks after your baby arrives. This gives us a good starting point, and if your baby decides to come early or keep us waiting, we can easily adjust. I’ll send over a short booking form along with a few gentle tips to help you feel relaxed and prepared ahead of your session.
Your photoshoot
I will spend one to two hours with you doing the photos. The photoshoot is completely baby-led, with plenty of time for feeds, nappy changes, and cuddles whenever needed. There’s no rush. I’ll gently guide you into natural, comfortable positions while also capturing the quiet in-between moments that make this time so special.
Receive your photographs
Each image is carefully and thoughtfully edited. Around two weeks later, you’ll receive a private online gallery to view. From there, you can choose your favourites or fall in love with the whole collection of 40+ images.

Because newborn sessions are planned around due dates, I only take a limited number each month. Booking during pregnancy is the best way to secure availability.

This secures your date and includes:
• My travel to and from your home
• A relaxed photoshoot of up to 2 hours
• A private online gallery with 40+ edited images from your session to view
DIGITAL PACKAGES
After viewing your gallery, simply choose the collection that feels right for you:
• 10 high-resolution photographs £200
• 20 high-resolution photographs £250
• Full gallery of 40+ photographs £300
• Personal printing and sharing rights
Professional prints and albums are also available to order directly from your gallery.
The First Year Package

Remember your baby’s first year through three milestone photo sessions.
This package includes:
• Newborn photoshoot up to 2 hours at home
• Six month photoshoot - 1 hour
• First birthday photoshoot - 1 hour

I cover Bristol, Bath, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Southeast Wales. All travel within a 30-mile radius of Portishead (my home) is included. I can travel further so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’re not in the areas above.

I don’t use a studio. I come to you. Home sessions keep things relaxed and natural, using soft window light and your own spaces. I bring a small, unobtrusive kit if needed and I’m used to working in small rooms; a tidy corner near a window is perfect. Newborn sessions are baby-led with plenty of time for feeds and cuddles.

Most newborn and baby photoshoots last between one and two hours. We go entirely at your baby’s pace, with plenty of time for feeds, nappy changes, and cuddles whenever needed.

I am happy to reschedule your photoshoot to another date at no extra cost. Please try to give me as much notice as possible.

You’ll receive a mix of both color and black and white photos, carefully chosen to suit each image and bring out its best qualities.

Most families book within the first two or three weeks after birth, when babies are still very sleepy and snuggly. But I also love photographing slightly older babies - every stage has its own magic!
