Bath FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER
natural family Photoshoots at home or outdoors across Bath
Hello! I’m Alison, a Bath family photographer specialising in natural, relaxed family photoshoots
I’m a family photographer based near Bath, photographing relaxed family sessions in the city and surrounding villages. Many families choose beautiful locations such as Royal Victoria Park, Alexandra Park, Bath Skyline and the Botanical Gardens, where children have space to explore while we capture natural moments together.
My photo sessions give children the freedom to be themselves whether that means exploring, playing, or simply staying close to you.
I photograph the laughter, the moments of connection and the emotion, bringing these together with a few gently guided portraits and the small details that help tell the story of your time together.
What you’ll come away with is a set of natural, honest photographs that help you remember the closeness, the moments, and the expressions that quickly become memories.
“Alison was warm, professional, and helpful. She made us feel completely at ease during the photoshoot. The photos… wow! We instantly fell in love with every single one of them. They’re full of emotion, exactly what we had hoped for, and more. This shoot turned out to be one of the most meaningful gifts we could give ourselves as a couple and as a family. We’re incredibly grateful and can’t recommend Alison enough!”

What happens during a family photoshoot?
Some families prefer the comfort of home, while others enjoy heading to a local park or green space. Both work beautifully and help keep the photos relaxed and natural.
Your photoshoot lasts around an hour and is more like a gentle family walk together. There’s no pressure to pose or perform. I allow plenty of time for children to explore and interact in their own way.
These photo sessions work well for families with babies, toddlers, and young children, and are planned around real life — energy levels, naps, and the natural rhythm of family life.
Where do you offer family photoshoots in Bath?
I regularly photograph families all over Bath: Combe Down, Larkhall, Weston, Widcombe, Claverton Down, Bear Flat, Corston, Bathford, Batheaston, Bathampton, Chippenham, Saltford, Charlcombe, Bradford on Avon, Keynsham
I also travel for family sessions across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, depending on availability.
How much does a family photoshoot in Bath cost?
My family photo sessions are £95. After your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery with 40+ beautifully edited photographs to view in your own time. From there, you can choose the collection that feels right for you.

About Alison Bath Family photographer
I’ve been photographing all kinds of families for over a decade now, working with parents who want natural relaxed photos of their family.
As a mum myself, I understand how quickly these stages pass and how important it is to capture them without adding pressure or expectation.
I spend most of my time either at home with my own family or at work with other families, which means I’m very used to the realities of family life - the unpredictability, the noise, the quiet moments, and everything in between. That familiarity allows me to work calmly and intuitively, creating photographs that feel honest, comfortable, and reflective of your family as you are right now.
I regularly photograph families across Bath and the surrounding areas, and over the years I’ve come to know many of the parks, quiet corners and outdoor spaces that work beautifully for relaxed family photos.
