I’m Alison, a Bath family photographer. My photo sessions are relaxed, child-led, and designed to capture your family in beautiful pictures.
I’ve been photographing families around Bath for over 10 years and I’ve found that the best photos happen when everyone feels at ease. I’ll give you just enough guidance so you’re comfortable, but never so much that it feels staged.
I can come to your home/garden, or head out to one of Bath’s beautiful spots.
The Botanical Gardens has colourful winding pathways and shaded nooks, Alexandra Park is hilltop park with panoramic views of Bath, Sydney Gardens is one of the oldest parks in Bath with a mix of bridges, tree-lined paths, and classical structures, Bath Skyline is a mix of natural beauty and iconic views of Bath, The Royal Crescent one of Bath’s most iconic landmarks has a large open green space.
These are just a few ideas - if you’d prefer your local park or nearby field, that’s absolutely fine, too. You can try somewhere new or we can just meet at a place you know your family loves!

#1 Book A date
Get in touch and we will find a date for your session. I can come to your home/garden, or meet you at a favourite park, a wood, or a place you love being with your family.
#2 meet
I will meet you and spend about an hour with your family. I guide you throughout to make the most of the light and angles. I focus on keeping things natural and fun allowing for plenty of playful moments, laughter, and interactions that bring out the bond your family shares.
#3 Gallery
When the session is over, my work continues. I carefully edit each image and around two weeks later, you receive an online gallery of approximately 40 pictures to view & share.
#4 choose
You can choose from my packages of photos, from 5 to 40 images. I also offer a range of professional, high-quality products to help you preserve your memories beautifully. If you prefer to do your own, that’s absolutely fine. You are free to download your photos and create your own prints, books, and keepsakes with a print release for personal use.

Session fee: £95
The session fee covers travel to and from your location and my time & expertise during your session. After editing all your photos and you have seen them via an online gallery, I offer the following photo packages:

I cover Bristol, Bath, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Southeast Wales. All travel within a 30-mile radius of Portishead (my home) is included. I can travel further so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’re not in the areas above.

All my work is done on location. I specialise in capturing natural, authentic moments in outdoor settings like parks, woods and fields. If you’d rather have a more relaxed and personal setting, I can also come to your home for a comfortable, familiar environment.

Your session fee is required at the time of booking to secure a session date for you. Please see family pricing above for more details.

Yes, I offer gift vouchers for family and baby photoshoots. These are available as physical or e-vouchers. Great for any occasion! Please see gift vouchers for details.

If the weather turns out to be unsuitable on the day of your photoshoot, don’t worry! We’ll reschedule at no extra cost. While an overcast day works perfectly fine, we’ll rearrange if it’s pouring with rain to ensure the best conditions for your session.

I am happy to reschedule your photoshoot to another date at no extra cost. Please try to give me as much notice as possible.

You’ll receive a mix of both color and black-and-white photos, carefully chosen to suit each image and bring out its best qualities.
