50th birthday party at The Manor House, Castle Combe – Day one
What a treat it was to photograph this gorgeous 50th birthday celebration at The Manor House in Castle Combe.
To mark a milestone birthday, the guest of honour flew in from the US and brought along family and friends for an unforgettable weekend in the English countryside.
The setting couldn’t have been more perfect. Castle Combe is one of the prettiest villages in the country, and the Manor House is full of charm and history, with beautiful gardens and honey-coloured stone buildings all around.
I was there to capture the welcome party on the Friday evening, which took place right in front of the hotel. Guests arrived from all over, and you could really feel the excitement in the air as everyone started to catch up, reconnect, and soak in the atmosphere.
The whole evening was so relaxed and full of warmth. There was plenty of laughter, hugs between old friends, and glasses raised to toast the birthday girl as she welcomed everyone.
