Wedding at Wick Farm, Bath
Some weddings just have that energy from the very beginning and this one at Wick Farm, just outside Bath, absolutely did. From the moment I arrived it was buzzing, full of smiles, hugs, and that happy anticipation that makes you feel lucky to be part of it.
The ceremony took place in front of the barn, with friends and family gathered to watch them say their vows. There’s something so special about that moment when the couple turn to face everyone as newly married - the cheer that goes up is always brilliant, and this one didn’t disappoint.
After the “just married” glow (and about a hundred congratulations from every direction), we slipped away for a little while. Wick Farm has this wonderful tree-lined road leading up to it, and it was the perfect spot for some portraits. Just the two of them, a little peace and quiet, before heading back to the buzz of the crowd and the all-important round of family photos.
The barn itself was a dream. Stone walls, warm wood, fairy lights overhead. The whole space seemed to glow. It felt both cosy and celebratory at the same time, which is exactly what you want for a wedding.
