Newborn photoshoot, Bath
One of the loveliest things about photographing families at home is how relaxed it feels. There’s no need to pack a bag full of newborn essentials or worry about being anywhere on time. Everything you need is right there, and the pace is entirely your own. I work around your routine, with plenty of space for feeds, nappy changes, or just stopping for a cuddle whenever it’s needed.
My approach to newborn sessions is always gentle and baby-led. I’m there to capture the little details as much as the bigger picture: a tiny hand wrapped around a finger, a wide yawn, a smile shared between parents. Those moments pass so quickly, and being able to bottle them up in the place you call home makes them feel all the more meaningful.
