Photoshoot at the botanical gardens, Bath
The Botanical Gardens in Bath are one of my favourite places for family sessions. Peaceful, colourful, and full of those little tucked-away corners that make photos feel both natural and a bit magical.
I spent a morning there with a lovely Bath family and their adventurous toddler. It couldn’t have been a better spot for him. With little ones, I always recommend keeping things relaxed: no pressure, no “stand here and smile,” just space to explore and be together.
And that’s exactly what we did. He toddled down the paths, stopped to peer at flowers, and generally led the way while we followed with the camera. The best photos always come from that mix: a few gentle portraits, some candid moments, and all the little in-betweens: cuddles, giggles, wide-eyed wonder.
